I heard a genuinely brilliant song by a new kid earlier on the radio and it was fantastic. Something very different and fresh. And clever without being obvious. Then they had the kid on for an interview and he was deeply unlikeable. Just an arrogant little twat.
I checked his instagram that he was pushing and it got worse. Now I can’t like the song.
This is very old man shouts at cloud of me but still.
Khakikid if you’re interested.

I've been going through some 2018 releases trying to tidy up my downloads and "file them away" so to speak. Listening to The Record Company's album All of this Life and its bloody excellent. Straightforward bluesy rock and I'm all about it.

This track in particular took my fancy. "You and Me Now".

I STILL have it on SNES.
I've gone through some shit in my life but one of my biggest regrets is still that I didn't keep my SNES

You can still get them. Think nintendo even released an official one with tons of games preloaded. No cartidge rewuired.

There’s definitely a ton of pirate versions of em you can get. I get those ads for them constantly.

They’re fly! In a perfect world, I’d see Sugar Ray play once every summer. I think I’ve seen them 4 times total - once in the 90s, once in the early 00s, and twice in the last 6 years.

Where the fuck has LV been?

I did not know the extent of damage the members of Dawes, past and present, encountered with the recent wildfires:
Both Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith were affected by the January, 2025 Eaton Fire in Altadena, California. The music studio they shared adjacent to Taylor's home burned down along with their entire instrument collection. Taylor's home was damaged, but not completely destroyed. His wife, actress and singer Mandy Moore, called it, "not livable, but mostly intact." Griffin and his wife's nearby residence burned to the ground. Former Dawes bassist Wylie Gelber also lost his home in the fire.

I wonder how many people are disappointed when they hear "Anxiety" by Doechii on the radio and it's her who starts singing instead of Gotye

Do you know of other, preferably non-videogame music that captures a similar vibe? I want it

Got to hear Bob Moulds new one. I know less than nothing about the guy but this was great.
Sounds like music from a man a fraction of his age but in the good way.
If anyone has any recommendations for what to listen to I’d appreciate it. He seems to have a lotta records.
