What would a realistic, good, modern day PJ album sound like to you?

What I want will never happen: something dark, murky, aggressive, heavy. Loud, but not spritzy. Less Springsteeny or Who-y than it seems they want to go

the problem with a PJ acoustic album at this stage is we will just end up with an Ed folk / bob dylan strummer album

not the deep instrumental extension of Of The Girl that we all crave

because Ed and whoever their producer are will stifle any genuine musicianship between the band

for the sake of 'making a record'
