George averages like 1 book every 3.5 years or something? My brother was saying that once that happens, there is talk of HBO going off air with it and moving into movie format once Martin finishes the story?
Considering they made book three into two seasons I think could get at least three seasons out of books 4 and 5 depending how much they cut out. They did also cover some stuff from books 4 and 5 this season.

One of two things needs to happen for me. I need to do a better job avoiding spoilers, or I just need to get through the books so it doesn't matter.

It's pretty easy to avoid spoilers, pal.

Having said that, though, I do HIGHLY recommend the books.

I was doing real well until the last two days. Saw two major ones, one regarding recent events and one that's quite a way out.

I'm about 120 pages or so into the first one. Lady Stark just arrived in Kings Landing.

There are some casting deets for Season 5 out there (just the names of characters that they're casting), so make sure not to read those; some of the characters' names spoil where the show is going to go (just like the casting news for the old man in the cave spoiled that Bran would get there by the end of season 4).

Did George R. R. Martin spend about 50 pages describing what she was wearing?

I'm pretty sure the prequel would just be to introduce (and then kill) each of the bastard-mothers important men have fucked. As well as whomever Tyrion killed when he was born.

I would be particularly interested to know how I can get right to any shots of Marjorie, or Robb Stark's wife who died in the Red Wedding, for starters.

I know this website exists, and I know someone here knows about it, so let's get that link.
Bump.

Anyone?

Last scene between Arya and the Hound was possibly the best thing in the entire series IMO.
