Ryan Ottley is probably my favorite "superhero" style comic artist due to his work on Invincible; and no, he does not shy away from brutality/violence.

On June 19, 2018, Amazon Studios announced they had greenlit an adult animated adaptation of the comic series, set to consist of eight hourlong episodes with creator Robert Kirkman to executive produce the series.[49] On January 31, 2019, a full cast list was revealed featuring Steven Yeun and J.K. Simmons as Invincible and Omni-man respectively.[50] Rogen ended up being involved by being a part of the cast, but he and Goldberg are not set to direct/write/produce the series, like they were set with the initial movie.

J.K. Simmons as Omni-man is inspired just going by the moustache.
