I think I have GLOW floating around on CD somewhere. Didn't realise that it was hard to come by

I had the opposite thought just yesterday, purely because Ginger's bass picking sounds like farts. Just a little amateur compared to all of Billy's other bass players.
Maybe it was just the performance I saw. I'll have to try to dig it up.

I gave CYR a listen for the first time today. There were a couple of songs I really liked, the rest was more or less just background noise

Honestly without going back in for another listen - the only two I can remember standing out were Wyttch and Cyr

Thats the one and only, mrs ginger reyes....
I love this era. I wish Billy would have gone so mad with the crowd asking for the hits. Zeitgeist sold pretty well, they were playing mayor festivals..and then in 2008 he blew it.
also he was so thin.

I hated this era, but I'm warming to it.

why? because of the production of the album or the metallic sound?
I kinda hated the Oceania era

Yeah the prod. and mixing are still both horrific to me.

yeah, they are truly awful. Specially the mixing with Billy doing the background vocals.

Today I learned that when they were putting together Adore, the label was pushing for Let Me Give the World to You as the lead single. Billy was so pissed that the big wigs would try to have any say in the matter that he pulled the track completely. I love that song, but he absolutely made the right call there.

I remember some article in Rolling Stone before the album came out that mentions Let Me Give the World to You as pop classic.
