Some of his songs are favorites and I don’t think he’s written a song for Pearl Jam that I don’t like.

I started listening to give way for the first time today. This jack irons drummed show is incredible and palpably better than any version of most of these songs Ive heard since.

To Pearl Jam Dave K was a drummer
To pearl jam Dave A was a more dynamic drummer.
To Pearl Jam Jack was a drummer and a sage and a spiritual advisor.
To Pearl Jam Matt Cameron is a drummer a brother a composer and a savor

I don’t blame them for moving on but they’ve never had a better sweet spot on the kit since Dave K.

In regard to PJ drummers, isn’t third-least favorite the same as…second favorite?

Third will always be third out of five. Third or third last, are both third.

As a guitar player I would say it very likely there are 5 great guitar players in Pearl Jam

Well… great compared to who? Compared to me, yes there’s probably 5. Compared to other R&R HoFers, maybe 1 or 2.

I can only imagine how good Soundgarden would have been, had Eddie Vedder been a member to boost their musicianship and songwriting skills.

Binaural and Riot Act, seriously, were the peak of their career. Have you ever smelled the 2003 official bootlegs? Damn, those cardboard digipaks smell so good.

Guitar player in the hall I can't think of any that aren't great. Mike Stone and Ed all are very good. I can see how some would resist calling Ed great, but I once in a interview Mike said Ed can do this rythem thing that I can't do. He is talking about Ed's right hand. It seems. Matt probably knows his way around pretty well. I would bet Jeff based on his writing isn't great
