Seems like something you might have wanted to research before the purchase

Do you have an Animal Crossing save? That was the only thing that was slightly complicated. Everything else was super straightforward.

Thinking about getting a Switch for the kids. Do they have a subscription plan like PS+ or Game Pass or anything like that? We’re probably just getting Mario Kart and Mario U to start. Do these things ever go on sale in the digital shop, or should I just buy the cartridges?

There is a form of permanent discount. Two digital premium titles for a reduced price.

Tbh no plans to. I got so bewildered last time and just bought a few randomly. They didn’t work out at all.

I’ll get the big mario ones and the BOTW2.

They don’t seem to make Star Wars games for this but I haven’t checked either.

It’s 100% botw for next few months

If you have any recommendations please lemme know though

It also let me login to my old account and download the two expansion packs I previously bought. That’s pretty cool.

Anything you buy digitally, even games, can be downloaded again in the future.

For current gen, yes. Otherwise, no. None of these home consoles are supporting their old and aging marketplaces. 3DS and WiiU are in their death march currently.

Physical forever.

Physical only works for their system as well, takes up more space in your home, is more of a hassle, and is probably worse for global warming as well.

You did buy it after all. Same for games on xbox and playstation, or if you buy a movie on itunes etc.

Anyone interested in the new Fire Emblem game? I've never played a single entry, but it looks intriguing.
