Well none have been picked up in testing. Although my training partner at Jits last week was coughing away and joking that it was Rona, so who knows

Whole country going into full lockdown for 3 days at midnight. Auckland and Coromandel 7 days

All you have to do to stop a highly contagious virus in it's tracks is TaKE IT SeRiOUslY and make it into another political wedge to bitch about!

The Eastern sphere approach (mostly Asia, but also Oz/NZ) works well for a serious pathogen that doesn't transmit that fast, like the original SARS-CoV, but with something like SARS-CoV-2 it's inevitable that it will break down. At least they made it by the time vaccines were made.

The outdoors part is ridiculous, but one thing it does highlight is just how much of a joke mask mandates are if you're also going to allow eating and drinking indoors.

I didn't realize the vaccine was available seventeen months ago.

If it had been it would be about three boosters out of date by now anyway.
