I think I've just accepted that its just an album and only that. There'll be a handful of tracks I like, a handful I prefer live an a few that just aren't my cuppa tea. I'd like to like the whole album and have it fire me up but I've accepted that it won't. And I'm fine with that.

I will gladly listen to this album when it comes out. Until that time, however, the last thing in the world I want to hear about is this album.

Of course it will be nice if it turns out to be a decent record but the whole pre-release whirldwind of nervous hand-wringing and feverish brow-mopping is kind of undignified and rather off-putting.
