I’ll relax a bit in the pool and later go for dinner.

Tomorrow I’ll travel for a nearby beach.
Please post the beach you decide on so I can enjoy it vicariously.

My boyfriend is in fuckin Thailand in a beautiful little cabin with its own private little beach. Keeps calling me to watch the sunset n bullshit of that nature.

I’m sitting here in freezing cold pissy rainy Dublin and still sick.

Life is not fair and sometimes vicarious is forced on you and you don’t want it!

Make an exception for VG and his travel stories though cos he’s a legend.

You really wouldn’t. It’s so grim when it’s like this.

I did. Last week. This is goin on since January*. Went back to the doc last Monday. She sent me straight to A&E. there I sat for 12 hours in a mental waiting room full of other sick people.
Eventually got seen to. Xray all clear and no problem with blood. So it’s a mystery illness.
Back for more bloods on the 25th. Not to be a moan but it’s agony and I’m eating painkillers like candy.

woke up this morning to a freezing cold house. The thermostat stopped working, basically in both zones of the house - Wyze thermostats are trash btw.

Schools and most businesses are closed today due to weather - ice and snow - though no snow yet. I drove to Lowe’s to get a new thermostat. There’s a store less than two miles from our house. It was a little slick in some spots. By the time I got a new one and started back home the roads got progressively worse.

We have a tech looking at our heater now.
