Some notes i took during a town hall with a dr in the know

why are some people who are vaccinated still getting the variant? most are older and the time since their vaccination is more than 6 months

when you are vaccinated you can still get the variant although a very high percentage of people who are vaccinated do not develope any major symptoms although they can still pass it along to others. also your window of being contagious is much smaller than if you were unvaccinated.

why is delta spreading so much? it has higher levels of the virus initially

covid will more than likely become endemic

how bad is your area? per 100,000 people 20 cases or less is low. 20-50 cases be careful. 50+ watch out. it is basically all around you

if you are getting a mask get one with ATSM level protection. . KF 94 or KF 95 masks are really good. N95 are good too.

clothe masks arent as effective (20%) but still better than nothing.

whats the difference between fda and eu use of the various vaccines? the biggest difference is the studying of how long can the vaccine sit in storage and what temp otherwise known as the CMC (chemistry, manufacturing, controls ). there are a few other things but nothing of major importance (the vaccines makeup will still stay the same).

I told Peeps covid was endemic like three pages ago. He shouldn't have risked his life attending a town hall for that information.

I'm trying to figure out what we have learned since February 2020 about this virus that wasn't known or reasonably anticipated back then. I don't think its a very long list, just certain folks are still playing catch up.

I think a lot of politicians just felt like they needed to "do something", especially for ones who have a large base of "science is my new religion" type psychopaths. It's going to become increasingly more damaging politically to pretend restrictions work outside of a few of the more dumber places on the planet like LA, NYC, Chicago, PNW.
