Grabbed some sushi and ate it down by the beach, then hit the pier and, to our surprise, spotted a fairy penguin (usually only seen at sunrise/sunset when they’re leaving/returning to they nests). Stopped off at the little amusement park on the way back to the car and fit in a couple rides with the kid before it started raining. Stopped at a gelato shop, because whey not, then headed home. Nice little Sunday.
Sounds like a lovely day. We saw the Fairy Penguins come in at Phillip Island when we were there in 2023. They were gorgeous. All the people on the board walk taking photos when they were expressly asked not to, not so much.

Cute little fuckers though.

They installed a new POS system during the offseason and this was the first night of its use. Gates opened 90 minutes before the match began and all the concessions were out of receipt/ticket paper before it started and there was no more. No one thought to order more than what came with the setup modules.

Looking like a mild and sunny day so it’s almost time for a long walk in the park with the dog. Sundays don’t get any better than that!

I did this just now. Excellent eye fillet steaks on the cast iron pan, mash and brocollini with chilli flakes. Pretty damn good if I do say so myself.

That’s fair. I suppose that people in the southeast aren’t loaded up with the sort of low temp winter gear that is a prerequisite to live in my part of the country.
And we can’t wear what we do have. We still have to follow uniform guidelines so no heavy coats or anything.

That had nothing to do with my day job.

And Elon got rid of OSHA, didn’t he?

Hospital today for bloods in quest to solve mystery illness.
They took buckets of blood. Honestly loads. Exhausted and sleepy all day after it. Wide awake now and starving and too late to order anything good. No energy at all to make something.
Need to start buying snack food and not just condiments and ingredients for big dinners

Starvation averted. Forgot there’s chicken noodles and spring onions. Tasty.
