Read that this morning. My favorite line was from the comments.

"If JJ Abrams wanted to remake the original Star Wars he should have bought a bunch of Legos and stayed in his room."

Maybe if James Cameron had made some good movies lately I'd care what he thinks about TFA.

Avatar is garbage but it's still better than TFA.

Wat? Despite all it's failings TFA is head and shoulders above Avatar

I laughed at Cameron saying that. As if Avatar was this great new modern tale. Pocahontas in space.

I feel so many different emotions when I read about your hate for TFA, I don't know which one is the right one.

We know LV doesn't like it. He might once we have the next one.

Big question is how will the rest of us feel about it by that time when we rewatch it before (or after) we've seen 8

That's really what makes me laugh about Cameron's comments.

That, and saying "George's six movies." Umm.... he only directed 4 of 'em, champ. So, if we're gonna say JJ isn't imaginative enough/uninventive then we have to say the same of Richard Marquand.

I've seen Avatar twice. I can't recall any specific scene or character from that film.

And they are doing at least 3 more of those.

Look, the first one was fine. It was cool in 3D. I have had zero desire to see it a second time. I don't need one more of these, let alone 3 of them. 3?! For fuck's sake. 3?!

Show me what you got James Cameron. I'd dying to see you deliver something I give a shit about.

K, if we're not gonna "come at" Jordan, we're certainly not gonna come at you for liking Avatar. Well, Jordan might.
