Let’s see, I don’t pay anything into my medical/dental/vision and so far out of about 180k in medical bills the past year and a half I have paid maybe $10 for my meds total

They gave us an extra 300 a month for 5 months to help with covid

Gave us 1000 to use to spruce up the home office

Gave us 400 towards food from thanksgiving to Christmas of last year

Gave us a total of 7 extra holidays over the last 18 months

Unlimited sick time that doesn’t count towards your pto (if out more than 3 days you do need a drs note)

Giving us an extra 4 weeks pay in October

Generally they look out for our well being more than any company I have ever worked for

Compared to my old job they pay about 8-10/hr

Most of the people are phds/masters so it’s tough to work there. Admin assistants/hospitality/it do not require PhD/masters

Would you feel the same way if they had something against gay people who got AIDS. Or smokers that get cancer. Or obese people who get diabetes.

We will do what we can to help everyone, as we should (I hope). Not sure that “love the sinner” is the right message. In some general sense it is (minus the gays with AIDS), but sometimes it makes sense to have a strategy to nudge people to do the right thing.

The concept of nudging people has been so thoroughly discredited (in practice if not theory). If you nudge people with too many easily discredited lies, they nudge back. I'm not going to claim the vax hesitancy is due to that, as a lot of anti-vax stuff existed well before Covid-19. The mask stuff is 100% on the nudgers. What gold plated peer reviewed reproduced dozens of times studies do you have?

Is it kind of like those gold plated peer reviewed reproduced dozens of times studies on adverse effects on young children when everyone is wearing masks that can't get approved by IRB, so we just hold up the claim "there's no evidence against X" when no respectable institution is allowed to study the "against X" proposition.

With the legal challenges on mask mandates, how are the judges supposed to rule? Relying entirely on some public health asshole that decreed complaining about lockdowns was a public health risk but mass protests and rioting is a public health intervention?

Hope some judge orders that mask mandates are valid only if they require fitted N95s or equivalents. If the Teachers Unions weren't talking out of both sides of their mouth, they would be on board with this.

I just asked my wife's oldest if he did it when he went back. If he did, he's not allowed to come home for a month.

Eh, it's outdoors, and water is a surface, as opposed to the respiratory nature of this virus. I'm guessing I can think of far more effective ways to spread covid than this.

Well, they cancelled the cough in my face tradition, but shoving your face down into that fountain after every freshman did it before is in the #10 disease spreading techniques.
