We both wish. Lately trimming the beard has been as annoying as a full shave...all the stray hairs that the blade doesn't catch, trying to even out the sideburns etc...

grabbed a 3rd bike ride before sunset
a wonderful blast of warmth and respite from a cold winter
so many happy people out enjoying the sun
like flowers arising from the earth to greet the spring
we shall bloom again

Son's down from Broome for country week basketball carnival. 2nd game he landed awkwardly on his leg and went down. Spent day at emergency care. Looks like he may have blown his knee out. Fucking long day folks.

Working from home so not a play day. Not as bad as I was expecting though. If the incoming round of freezing rain doesn’t knock out my power I am good.

I find it incredibly weird and very telling we don’t have a thread for jokes on rm
Best jokes you heard in a bar or from a cab driver or an auld guy at a bus stop.
How am I only noticing this now?

Actually bring it up cos one of great poets died the other day. He was so much more than a poet. A gods eye on the human condition and people and Dublin. He just had that eye and that wit. He was beloved but we didn’t love him back enough sadly. Until he died of course.
He was so funny. I’ll try find a funny one but this. For now

it'll do me."
