Being a lifelong Blue Oyster Cult fan has granted me immunity to this tendency (and also to most common low-level spells).
LOL
This was a very good post.

I guess that wouldn’t have slipped through given the rigorous attention to detail evidenced elsewhere in the liner notes.

Has anyone noted how that visualizer in particular looks a lot like images certain images of the Large Hadron Collider?

thanks for the Stern files.
The band sounds great. I too would love a SVT or live at the basement take on this album in particular.
Ed sounds better than he has in years. For instance they way he sings "to hurt me" in scared of fear has that deeper full bodied note, reminds me of a younger, 1998-2003 Ed.
I'll probably get the vinyl or atmos blueray to sample different mix.
Anecdotally, the album sounds great on my little crappy JBL blue tooth speaker that I use while doing dishes or other chores around the house.

With one very noticeable exception at the very end of SoF. It's kind of hilarious. Work that one out before the tour, Echo Victor

I think this is intentional
Totally - they've tried to mix this to appease everyone, maybe a sign of the times?
Still, I do like it with my proper open back headphones and I can hear everything. Plus I'm excited to hear your remix
Would still love a proper "live version" of this album too.

Why do people keep saying this, he clearly doesn't, he isn't hitting all of the notes/wrong notes and on fear he barely attempts the big 'woah', yes it's early and new but either way it objectively is not good for the new tunes.

For what it’s worth, I also thought Ed sounded good.
Does he sound like he did in 1998 or even 2006?
No, but I’ve heard him sound much worse.

Question for the vinyl nerds.
My record store is telling me that they're out of stock. Is it more likely that their distributor hasn't filled the order yet or that they had a run on the vinyl... in Houston of all places?

Bring back ‘98-‘00 Ed vocals.

I said it because it's my opinion based on his voice in recent years and based on what I was expecting. I think he sounds good.
