It took me awhile to get over than one. Mizzou lost it about seven different ways. Kudos to Georgia for taking advantage of it and a beautiful throw on that game winning TD.Electromatic wrote:It was a close game down to the end anyway MD.
They really dominated the second half, but just couldn't throw it to the right team or hang onto the ball. The playcalling got way too conservative for my tastes. Oh well, Mizzou's young and should improve as the season rolls along. I'll be cheering for Georgia to beat Tennessee in the East.Electromatic wrote:I really thought with 1:08 left and that long completion Mizzou was going to kick an FG and win. Then the fumble.
But I thought they looked good. DL went off, they looked bigger than Georgia frankly.
Likewise, hoping Missouri can take care of Florida and Tennessee.Monkey_Driven wrote:They really dominated the second half, but just couldn't throw it to the right team or hang onto the ball. Barry Odom, he was our defensive coordinator last year. Former player here too. He's young, but he seems like he knows his stuff for a first time head coach.verb_to_trust wrote:Who coaches Mizzou these days. I haven't been to that campus for anything since Pinkel left.
I was at that game. It was a weird year. That nightclub incident led to a game where only 6 or 7 players dressed.verb_to_trust wrote:Actually the last time I saw a sporting event on campus was a bball game when Anderson and his nephew Demarre Carroll were still there. My friend was in med school and bandaged demarre's calf after he got grazed by a bullet. My friend said Anderson showed up and just stood in the corner of the room without saying a word.
They played K State at that nice new arena, which I think was paid for with Wal Mart money. Some relation of Roberto Clemente went off for K State that night...
