From a long time guitar player (if that even makes a difference), I love his solo on the video version. I actually get goosebumps when he switches guitars and tears into the first few notes.

Mike gets a lot of shit for wanking and I've heard people say they prefer Stone's solo's for the "feel". And now we're talking about if one of his solos is "slightly" off? I just can't understand it. Mike is an awesome lead guitarist; 99.9 percent of bands out there would kill to have a guy of his caliber in their group.

To me, the solo sounds awesome and is one of my favorite parts of the song. Instead of actively looking for things that is wrong with it why not just enjoy all the things that are right?

Interestingly enough, I rarely if ever feel the need to make fun of songs I don't like from bands that I love. There were bad songs on around the sun I don care to ever hear again but it would not occur to me to make fun of them
