Charlotte 10/30/2013. Underrated show with an excellent setlist and pretty tight performance. Lots of songs I didn't hear in Charlottesville, but wanted to. I wanted to go to this show so bad, but the wife said NO. "You can get the bootleg" was her response. :|

Yeah. While it wasn't my favorite setlist, I thought they sounded good, and it was fun being there with chud. There were a few runs in that show I really liked:

Present Tense -> Last Exit -> DTE

And the run to end the first set would have been killer had it not been for that turd Unthought Known.

Not For You -> Immortality -> Infallible -> Unthought Known -> RVM

Wishlist pt. 2 is my nickname for that song. Everything I wanted to hear at C'ville got played here. I love the arena in Charlotte. There's a cool little Pizza/Pool/Beer place around the corner. We hung out there after Metallica in 2009. I've recently fallen in love with Yellow Moon. There's some pretty decent shows from this 2013 tour, too.

Los Angeles 1 11/23/2013

Angry Ed tossed someone from the pit for elbowing their way to the front after Corduroy. I really love a lot the 2013 Tour shows. These setlitsts are amazing and it's really the first time since the initial bootleg run in 2000 that I've collected so many shows. I have all of them between 2012-2016 and I undertook the project of making slipcases using cardstock and printing off the posters/setlists as artwork. Taking a break last year was exactly what I needed to fall back in love with the band. :)

The guitar tech? That's night 2. He couldn't get that 12 string to stay in tune. Something also happened at the Brooklyn 1 show. Ed finished that one by calling Stone an asshole at the end of it. He yelled at some dude named Marcell to get the girl out of the pit on this one. 3 of the 4 California shows have strange vibes, with the exeption of San Diego, where Ed was extremely happy and talkative.

In the warm, fuzzy afterglow of the Hall of Fame induction, I listened to bits of Vienna 2014 over the last few days and enjoyed it immensely.
