Everything I'm reading from the stars of the show about tonights finale is that it's a cliffhanger. Which will suck.

One of the show runners on the Talking Dead said there were some "hints" as to who it was. So,

when Negan finishes his eeny meeny thing, "you are it" they first show Daryl. They show others after him but that is the only clue I could pick up.

I feel like this sort of cliffhanger is actually just a ploy to get the fans to crowd-source a good story. The writing staff didn't want to do what was done in the comics, but they couldn't come up with anything better themselves. So they concocted this mess to get us to do it for them. They're going to spend the next three months reading internet theories trying to find a good story out of this mess.
Or they actually think that cliffhangers like this are good television, and not just a gimmick that we are all sick of at this point.

Given Negan's stance in women, I feel all women are safe. He did say to Maggie, "you look like shit, I should put you out of your misery" - Daryl also looked like shit so... Abraham straighted up and that did catch Negan's attention. Saying to Glenn that you get a pass after his outburst might not actually mean he's safe. There was a similar false sense of security regarding racism to Glenn in the comics too. What Negan said while bashing was similar to the comic. We don't know what Eugene said or did when he was captured. I'm sticking with Glenn.

My guess is 1) Darryl 2) Glenn or 3) Abraham. I fully expected more fireworks during the episode & would have bet there would have been a secondary regular get killed too.
After all the hype going into the finale and then leaving on cliff hanger. Leaving Carol like they did was one thing but "bullshit" on the producers for ending the season like this.

It was a weak way to end a good season.

Yep, they pretty much ruined what could of been what of the best TV introductions ever.

They really undermined Negan's scary factor.

Really bad ending to what was overall a pretty good episode and season for a show that's going into it's 7th.

But man they really fucked that ending up. It's going to be so anticlimactic.

But he named other cliffhangers in other popular shows. That shows he is a regular guy that likes TV.
