I've watched half of season 1 of this and it's not hitting. Does it stay in a similar territory throughout?

I disagree. If you've watched all of a Season 1 and still don't like it. It's not your think, and you shouldn't feel guilty about it.

Especially if watching in release form. Can be tough going makes little narrative sense.

I'm watching it in the recommended order. Just taking awhile due to the lack of time and trying to appreciate each episode.

Not there are a lot of episodes that aren't worthy of that kind of attention or specified appreciation.
Especially in S1.

I just hate being told to stick with something I dislike until it gets good. I'm the customer, why am I the one that has to work?
