Plus you had mendo saying a lot of what he remembers isn't even in the final cut and there's an entirely different film ended up on screen. Who even cares? You like what you got.

guys, Gilroy and Edwards worked side by side on the post production and reshoots. Therefore, it wasn't JUST Gilroy. You can obviously trust me, I was there hoping to get in on a scene during the reshoots.

I understand that, dime, but my point remains, Edwards was still involved in the reshoots! Therefore, to say Gilroy did 40% of the movie is wildly inaccurate. You make it sound like they removed Edwards. "Go home dude, Gilroy got this". Which wasn't the case at all.

But yes, you are right, it was an excellent movie whatever happened.

Wonder if we will ever see the original. Probably locked in a Disney safe.

I believe Song of the South actually got a 4K restoration recently. Not sure why; I can't imagine Disney ever releasing it.

It's like attack of the clones. There's a lot of great stuff in there. But overall it's just not satisfying. I don't hate it. But it's towards the bottom of the ranking I don't actually have.
