I was very fortunate to be at the listening party for LB in Amsterdam back in 2013. Brendan O'Brien was there for a Q&A.

One fan asked about other songs being recorded. He mentioned that there wasn't much recorded for LB, he thought that there were maybe 1 or 2 songs that didnt make the cut. I figured one would be Olé. Another fan asked if 'Off the Earth' was recorded for LB. He said it was not.

Ole came out way before LB. I think its a Backspacer b side.

From what I read, the 2017 and 2018 sessions that yielded Can’t Deny Me and Retrograde have been scrapped entirely with the exception of those 2 songs. We’ll never see a formal release of those other songs. Probably a leak someday, never a release.
