"We have no reason to believe this incident was connected to terrorism or a threat directed at the All-Star Game," the FBI Denver said in a statement. "We are not aware of any threat to the All-Star Game events, venues, players, or the community at this time."
Don't worry, whichever Mariners player is going (because I think every team is still required to have one player no matter how awful they are) is safe.
Yes one per team still required. Ours is a pitcher who got shelled his last outing and was put on the injured list today.
They'll find an Astros player to replace him.

Blue Jays have 3 of the top 4 run scorers in baseball and aren’t even sniffing the playoffs. Wow their pitching must really suck.

Dodgers close to Scherzer and Trae Turner. Wow.

Guess the rest of the league is a small market now.

I get trading Scherzer, considering Washington is spinning their wheels, but Turner? I guess they assumed he was leaving after next year. He’s one of the better players on their team from my vantage point. I don’t understand Seattle trading their closer to Houston either when they’re competitive.

Midseason trades are lame and teams should compete with what they started with each year. Change my mind.

Good players on bad, dead-end teams should be allowed to get out of purgatory.

Fred Mcgriff.

Baseball is dead between the ASB and September 1st. If there’s a mid season trades let bad teams reset if they want and races potentially have more drama.
