Farmer John wrote:If the girl he loved committed a crime and the police were questioning him about it, he would turn her in. He wouldn't lie for love.
Well, he says he wouldn’t lie to her. He would’ve lied to the police. When Eddie Vedder sang “a dissident is here” he wasn’t pretending to be Meatloaf because Meatloaf would lie to the police for love.

A better example would be if she asked him if these jeans made her look fat, he would have no choice but to be honest with her.

did you know, a recurring symbol or motif in a musical, movie or play, when it pertains to glam rock, is called a Meitlotif?

So Olivia Rodrigo is a White Stripes superfan and her performance with Feist at the HoF induction was extremely cool. I had no idea any of this took place and I like her even more now. She seems chill for a plant, at least.
Now, back to Meatloaf.

Back in the 90s, when this song came out, it was really the first time I’d ever heard of him. I just assumed he called himself Meatloaf since by then, he kind of did look like a meatloaf.

I hate how artists are releasing every song as a single on Spotify, and then, one day in the far future, releasing the full album. Very annoying for albumheads.

I am very much an album guy myself. I keep a list of albums I want to hear when the press release comes and I rarely listen to the singles before the album drops. Primary exception to that rule is Pearl Jam because I can’t stand to wait. Otherwise I just take in the full album.

Pearl Jam is the opposite for me. They’re only one I avoid the single and wait for the album in full.

I tend to listen to playlists these days, but when an artist I like releases new music, I prefer to listen to the album first.

Eagles of Death Metal's cover of Duran Duran's "Save a Prayer" is so fucking good. Josh's backing vocals. Unreal.

I'm finding it harder to keep up with new album releases. What are people's strategies here?
