i like Maria and Mic Check a lot too. I have an early live version of Mic Check on CD-R somewhere where the lyrics are a little different.

I like guerilla radio but the solo came on and reminded me how the album solo is a let down. flimsy harmonica sound. Live though morello usually did something more like a lazer beam and it worked fine

We do. These stories are not news. The school is well aware of both of those descriptions. The one I said lives with his brother in a hotel - our staff does a meal train for them. I don’t know what everyone knows about his life in Guatemala, but that’s out of our reach. The other kid lives alone in some form of government housing. The school is well aware of his situation as well. I was just saying so many of my school’s population is carrying around more baggage than most people I know, and it’s hard to be like, “Why didn’t you get your homework done?”

wow. so sorry to hear

i just spent a couple hours doing some touch up paint on a few ceilings where we had some roof drips from a few monster storms

a year or so ago there was a tornado that landed a couple miles north of us. destroyed a huge industrial storage building

i was in my basement scared af cause just before i could see on the radar the town it was over was just west of us and it was moving in our direction and I was like 'this is a dice roll it could hit us or not'

fotunately it went a bit north and west and missed us

up at 4:45 am on Saturday...today, my wife is doing her yearly silent retreat meditation thing which means I have to get lost for 8 hours..you can find me at the five point cafe eating the perfect hash browns with a melted slice or 2 of Kraft singles and reading the morning paper..I have to bring unopened baseball card packs as well to open with the bartender.

what a morning..sat next to a guy who plays bass in some punk band thats touring..they opened for someone last night and play again tonight,..he kept wanting me to ask what band but I never did because I knew it was killing him..we chatted about music for a about 2 hours..shortly after a group of 3 people came in and sat down next to me all dressed like cats..they were high on something that they told me but forgot what it was..anyway I bought them a round of whatever they were drinking and they all told me that I was the best and that they loved me..my favorite bartender, Steve, and I the opened a few packs of 1991 stadium club baseball cards along with a a pack of 88 topps..also made a video of 2 guys from jersey telling my best friend to go fuck himself..all in all a good morning..going to have a nap and then we go out for a nice dinner tonight..
