I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I can't imagine when I'll ever see it. Not against it, per se. But I have no interest. Mrs DcT has no interest.

Man what a letdown.

I felt the story was good, Affleck was very into it...the whole cast was great. And then, Lonergan chooses not to tell you a story. He chooses to have them wandering around and not to narrate anything. Every once in a while, a very good scene appear in the form of a flashback or maybe the encounter between Affleck and Williams...but overall it felt a very tired and boring movie.

Don't laugh but I keep getting it mixed up with that (excellent and bizarre) film, Stretch.

And I don't know why.

Good buddy of mine didn't love iBoy. Didn't hate it either but thought it was a bit flat and under-realized. Let me know what you think. I'm curious to check it out.
