Where do you get your fact-driven news from? I should probably change it up

Don’t worry, the people pushing the “it’s not even FDA approved yet” line have now switched to “I don’t trust this approval, it seems rushed.”

I don't care that they approved it I just think it's funny because by the end point of the trial it's going to be essentially useless.

The hospital my wife works at announced that they wouldn't hire anybody who hadn't been vaccinated. Then a week later they announced a bonus for all employees fully vaccinated by October. Then like another week later they announced that failure to obtain a vaccine by that date except for religious/health exceptions would be viewed as a resignation.
A bunch of hospitals/healthcare systems in Chicago and Wisconsin, that I’m aware of, have been doing essentially the same for a month or so now. Just surprised Northwestern, the top hospital in Chicago, hasn’t pulled the trigger. Perhaps they’ve just had less vaccine resistance from their employees, but for optics, you’d think they’d have announced something.
Have you been in contact via Zoom with their CMO?

To shape public health policy and guidelines silly!

My priors include a belief that the FDA drug-approval process is far too long and costly, so the relatively quick approval doesn't bother me. In fact I'd be so annoying as to suggest that it was still too slow since vaccines were developed by January of last year.

As I said above, more and more healthcare providers are requiring vaccinations. It’s the trend.

And why would you have an issue with medical personnel - who interface with the elderly, the immunocompromised, children, and the unvaccinated on a regular basis… that go to hospitals and clinics to feel better, not worse - needing to be vaccinated against a novel virus that’s killed over 600,000 people over the last year and a half?

I didn't say that I did. Vaccinated people still seem to be spreading this though so not sure it will matter much at the end of the day.

I was one of the first of the larger groups to get the anthrax vaccine. I can't imagine refusing it at the time.
