Ugh... Yes Trump is an imbecile. He sucks. Biden, you aren't the answer by default.
You could use a lot more swirleys you little billionaire-loving dork.96583UP wrote:U.S. political discourse could use a lot more dignity

How about they don't and you try to take an interest in something outside of your little bubble?Bammer wrote:Mickey and/or Burt,

You're a white middle to upper class man with a professional career living in a major urban area at the outset of middle age, having already had children. It's going to take decades before your day to day life changes.Bammer wrote:Mickey and/or Burt,

I'm not Mickey and/or Burt, but I will say this: many, probably most, people's day to day life doesn't change with a change in political power. (Which, by the way, is a great thing about this country and others that regularly exercise the peaceful transfer of power.) When I'm voting, I'm thinking not about how my life will change, but how the lives of others will change, hopefully for the better if the vote goes my way. Now I have no problem with someone casting a ballot only for one's self interest, nor will I begrudge those who don't vote because it doesn't affect them directly. But plenty of others are motivated by other reasons.Bammer wrote:Mickey and/or Burt,
