Yeah, sounds like they may be exploring more than one way to retain consciousness post death. Obi / Yoda with themselves, others may be kinda like wargs or something from GOT. Maybe reincarnation is where they are going? At any rate, I'd be surprised if Vader let her leave alive. I think he "kills" her, or at least what we know of her. Sounds like she may be something else...E.H. Ruddock wrote:No but mentioned how "we don't know how she will come back..."darth_vedder wrote:Did she mention that Ahsoka will now be a wolf?E.H. The whole wolf thing seems pretty stupid and way out of left field. It's a slippery slope. Who else is a damn animal now?
Wolves work really well in GoT because their introduced at the very beginning and then they're slowly built up and expanded on. It's not jarring.

I kinda hope the don't dabble too far in force reincarnations or anything. I don't mind learning more about it beyond the current netherworld state we know of, I don't want anymore. I'm fine with leaving it at that.

Same. The bird thing always seemed like a whimsical element of her character. Oh these weird ass birds follow her around. Okay. Still dumb and probably better off it isn't explained. Mystery isn't a bad thing.
Also another reason why the wolf is dumb. We already have this weird bird thing going on with her.

Re: Star Wars: Rebels
But if Ashley is coming back to voice the character... I mean, that's promising right? There's like next to no chance we're getting a talking wolf. Right?E.H. Re: Star Wars: Rebels
But we SEE her walking into the temple. Are you speculating that it was a Force Ghost or some such in the entry to the temple? And that once she's inside she becomes something else?darth_vedder wrote:Yeah, sounds like they may be exploring more than one way to retain consciousness post death. Re: Star Wars: Rebels
Both are weird. But there's at least a precedent for a connection to the convore. I'd still rather see Ahsoka return as herself with a stronger connection to the birds. But if they are flat reincarnating her, the convore makes way more sense and has somewhat of an established mythology.E.H. Ruddock wrote:I don't like either, tbh@SkitchP wrote:Ahsoka is a made up bird?!! GREAT WE ALL LOVE IT!!

But again since Ashely is coming back to voice her (it seems) then I don't expect her to be a reincarnated animal.

I'm just noticing that now.
A giant wolf. In Star Wars.
Fuck off.
Giant space whales were an easier sell. Least they looked different and sci fi fantasy.
A giant white wolf??
Pfo

Re: Star Wars: Rebels
I don't have a problem with white wolves or giant white wolves being in Star Wars. But it's gonna be a tough sell if Ahsoka has merged with and/or turned into one. That's weird.

It's a place holder. Seems like.
She's too much love though. They're going back to her sooner or later. I'd say they're gonna work her into the current time frame. Probably in that legends of luke Skywalker book out this November.
Only thing I know is coming she will fit into. Without knowing what the new animation is about.
