Did you listen to sirens?
Yep, only the official video so far. It's great, it's a little fluffy around the edges in terms of production, but it works for me. It's not nauseatingly soft like JB, and didn't miss it's target like ATW did (by miles).

I can see what they were aiming for, and have nailed it with shit hot fire.
Awesome to hear :D
I think you said it perfect there

Ok so I watched the video (haven't listened to the album version yet, maybe I'll leave that for when I get the album).

Definitely nowhere as bad as some people made it out to be, but my reaction after one listen was indifferent. I agree that it was a bit of a shock (for lack of a better term) to listen to because it is pretty different. That being said, I listened a 2nd time and I enjoyed it a lot more at that point. Right now I view it as a middle-of-the-road song. Not great, but not terrible. I just didn't hear anything memorable, but I can see that changing with further listens.

So, good job today team.. You're all doing a bang up job.. See you in the morning

Well, now that I got my little taste of Sirens out of the way it's back to the straight and narrow for me (but I may occasionally peak at the video once in a while... 8-) )

Initially, Yellow Moon. But, now its Infallible. I don't know why, but I think that will be my favorite song on the album.

Considering that it sits right in between 2 drastically different songs... I'm thinking My Father's Son might be one of the most important songs on this album... If it manages to connect MYM and Sirens, that could be a very nice run of songs.

I didn't listen to it, but everyone seemed to be pretty excited over the soundcheck song, so since its infallible then im pretty excited about that one as well.

I had the radio on this morning while I was getting ready and the wouldn't you know it, the announcer says "here's a fantastic new song from Pearl Jam..." as the first line starts... "Can you hear the sirens" (or whatever it is). I jumped for the stereo and shut it off before hearing anything else. Apparently I have the will power to wait.

Wow, that's either impressive or insanely irrational
