Just did a rewatch of The Shining.
What a timeless classic. Kubrick was a master of his craft. Still impressed with how good the kid was.
Also he is a very smart kid in the movie which makes his character so interesting..

"LandLocked" on Shudder is a vibey, slow, lo-fi / analogue and low budget good time

The Strangers:Chapter one.
Its a reboot of the first one, mostly beat by beat. The lead actor is so fucking bad, he kinda ruins everything. The original is untouchable really....well see whats the angle on the sequel but felt like a missed chance really. I was really thrown off with Harlin's obsession of making very weird close ups to the guy with no reason at all...maybe some budget thing?

Harlin’s career trajectory is a bummer

Yeah keep the original in mind. I’ll jump into the sequel, probably will be a very straight slasher but I’m still interested.

I loved it. Nell tiger free’ performance is on another level.

That homage to Possession is beautiful.

Well, TV Glow was amazing, even though its the child of Twin Peaks and Videodrome, feels very unique and special. Might loosed steam at the end, but the highs are spectacular. Queer horror is pushing horror boundaries like no one else.
