Things seem escalated.

Poland and others (including Morocco? Algeria?) have provided T-72s to Ukraine. Is that not an escalation? HARMS and HIMARS were capabilities they didn't have previously, and were arguably more of an escalation.

The upgraded Russian tanks in use can almost certainly destroy the Western Tanks being provided ). It's not some wonder weapon that changes things fundamentally, it's about numbers (if Ukraine can support such a varied number of systems).

More importantly, the supply of Western tanks is required to expose how insanely broken the German psyche is.

This is about providing tanks with good optics, and the global supply of T-72s with good optics that can be donated to Ukraine is depleted.

The Vuhledar debacle sounds like the Ukrainian explanation might be true. (Allegedly)Russian General told to take such and such objective by the one year anniversary of the special military operation. What did occur was Tanks and IFVs running headlong into a minefield, passing vehicles that already hit mines to immediately hit more. IFVs running over and dragging Russian Naval Infantry trying to retreat, just total chaos with 30+ vehicles lost.

The Russian airborne was decimated early in the operation, with the new mauling of their Naval Infantry, do they have any high quality formations left?

a decisive victory only seems possible if one side goes bankrupt or putin dies

maybe we need to put sanctions on India for buying russian oil

and end all the western loophole exceptions to the sanctions
