I fail to see any similarity between this song and the S/T album.

We all discussed how similar to Teenage Talk was...im going to add I Prefer Your Love and Severed Crossed Fingers to that list. And yes, it also reminds me of earlier stuff too, which add a lot to my disappointment.

I love them all, but I think that Marry Me remains my favorite.

Marry Me might be my least favorite of her records but I still love it with all my heart. It's so fucking good. And there are individual songs on Merry Me that are among the best in her entire catalog.

I happened to see that tickets were still on sale for her London show and I caved. My partner's in Miami when the gig's on, so it's just me 'n Annie.

I goddamn love St. Vincent so much. I'm listening to this playlist I made and every song is wrecking me. I can't wait for the show in December. Or a new album. I want a new album. AHHHHHHH!

Song Exploder has a great new episode about St. Vincent's latest track, New York.
I love Annie Clark. She's so smart and funny and creative. This has some great insight into the making of the song and into her creative process as well. I highly recommend checking it out.

Song Exploder is a great podcast, if a little short. I always wish it went a little deeper

This is the first time I've listened to it. But, yes. I agree.
