I'm not even sure he's got one. He backed Leave hoping for a Remain vote, if it wasn't for him and his ERG chums we'd be long out by now. No 2017 election. No lost majority. No backstop issue. No DUP issue. I don't even think a hard Brexit is that important as we could be gearing up to a 2020 election with the Tories proposing a referendum on leaving the Single Market and Customs Union by now. I think his goal is to keep us in the EU for as long as possible so he can take advantage of people being angry. In the short term we'll have to see what comes from this court case. If he's found to be lying to the Queen, I don't know where he'll have to go. I guess he could tell Royalists "I did not lie to the Queen ladies an jennel men, this is fake news".

It’s not hard. Both parties have been infiltrated and infested by far right elements.
Only aim is to cause chaos. It’s working. And it’s not.
Easy to work into a party and create havoc.
Not so easy to convince people / party members nationwide.

Salient point is momentum and erg are working to the same aim.

I feel like (UKers please feel free to correct me) it is probably becoming inevitable that England will suffer a no deal Brexit, as none of the negotiations up to this point have had a ghost of a prayer, what negotiation footing the country had has evaporated, and even now the relevant political sphere does not have the momentum to sustain a battle to Remain. Boris may be forced to postpone, but to what end? What is the path to a deal that both the EU and Brexit voters will accept, ever?

If the country had any hopes of a concerted push to re-evaluate the referendum, that might be something, but as is? I’m more curious what such a breakup ends up meaning for Northern Ireland and Scotland.
