I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Man, that guy also has a direct line to my funny bone.
Didn't know about this, I'll watch it. I saw him at the Comedy Store right after the pandemic and he had me and my buddy in stitches.
He's so good!
Seems like stand up specials are the only reason I haven't cancelled my Netflix subscription.

Louis is doing clubs. So tempted to drive to Des Moines for a Friday show.

Aaron Weber’s (Bargatze disciple) first half hour “Signature Dish” came out on YouTube today. It’s pretty good clean work. I enjoyed it.

Just saw Shane Gillis at Target Center. I don’t know how he can use any of it on SNL. Mark Normand as an opener surprised me.

Scored some row 2 seats for Louis here at the Orpheum here in September. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen him. 7 or 8 at least. He’ll always be my favorite.

I also scored (2) tickets! (San Diego)
I'm too cheap to get anything above the $100 range though
Still very good seats!

Row 2 was $124 all-in per ticket. I used to see Louis in comedy clubs where he’d sell cds after the show. Was in row 1 at the Chicago Theater many years ago. I’ve never been close since. It will be great to see his dumb face again.

Oh man, that's awesome!

This will be my 1st big stand-up show experience.

Anyone here familiar with the late Sean Lock? I’m just discovering him now but really love his humor. It’s a shame he passed from cancer.
