i would be surprised if after all the banks have been through (bankruptcies, massive layoffs, $10B - $20B fines, hyper-regulatory scrutiny, reduced pay, public protest) they would decide to just go apeshit again and lend to people likely to default; in an effort to create MBS and then sell them to retarded pension plan trustees. no other industry informs you by mail 3 weeks after services are rendered what you will be paying. you open the envelope and it can be $47 or $478. who fucking knows. because 'science is magic' ... if a bank sent you a letter 3 weeks after you stopped in to see a teller and charged you $478 with no advanced notice, what do you think would happen?!?
