These live recordings also sound great and I agree about the new drummer, he kills it.

I was listening to this live EP last night and was struck by how much Dave sounds like Sam Kinison during "Wattershed."

The riff is allright, but its kinda of a dull song. Foo by numbers.

The rough and muddy vocal mix is the only thing grabbing my attention.

It would appear they're in Ireland (Dingle, Co. Kerry to be exact) tonight doing a TV show called "Other Voices". It'll be a set recorded in a church, broadcast on RTE.

It seems to be hush-hush but their open truck with FF-stylized flight cases on board has been spotted on the street.

These guys suck now, but Dave's daughter just dropped a killer single that kinda sounds like Hole x Qotsa. It's really damn good.

I tend to agree they are not very interesting anymore, generic, bland and whatever but this new song is actually pleasant to these ears, I’m intrigued now.

Shiflett hasn't been with the Gimme Gimmes in a long time. They parted on bad terms, apparently because they recorded and released stuff without him
