Aside from that one guy that was poisoned by his wife, who has gotten sick from taking hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin? Both have been taken by millions of people, and in the case of the former, for years at a time.

These aren't particularly dangerous drugs. I'd be far more worried about people overdoing it with tylenol or advil. Oh, and they do, hundreds or thousands a year. Maybe we should spend more time fighting the dangerous notion that tylenol is a pain reliever because some people will OD on it.

No man, my immediate family all got the vaccine. Except my sister, who got covid. She didn't take the vaccine because she has natural immunity and isn't dumb as a brick.

It's funny because the people who mock a single horse meds reaction are crickets when someone gets a clot shot reaction. Neither are worth worrying about but for some reason only one is brought up by the RM hive mind.

I'll take my chances with a vaccine developed for humans by doctors instead of a medicine for cows that doctors say you shouldn't take. But maybe I'm looking at this wrong, I am a sheeple after all, so maybe it would work? Good thing true patriots like you know what is best for us!

Anybody hear about parents not wanting their kids on school busses? I've never seen the parent pick up line like this before. It's always bad the first two days but even today (day 5) it's literally two miles long from the school. Usually by this point the whole line would fit on school property. My only guess is the school bus thing.

I had to take my wife's daughter to high school this morning. Every road going to or near the high school was backed up so much. I'm pretty sure she's gonna tell her mom just how much I swear after that debacle this morning.

Had a conversation with my neighbour yesterday about Covid. He's afraid he'll lose his job in October when they mandate vaccines. He's vaxxed but feels it is absolutely not his employers business. His manager is aware of his stance that he will not show that he is vaxxed and trying to keep him on under a purely remote role.

As much as I am against vaccine passports, I am not willing to stake my livelyhood on it. Kudos to him for sticking to his principles but what a price to pay if he loses his job.

BC is rolling out vaccine passports. I am very against this (we have a near 85% vax rate already) and am not sure what steps I will take to protest. I know that I will not download and use the government app for this and have them issue me the alternate/paper version.
