The after-block stare-down of the Garden was even better.

Gotta say the dude is a-maze-ing.

Missing 2/5 of your starting lineup, reaching Game 7 of the East Finals, adding playoff experience for Brown, Tatum.....toss in a Top 5 coach whom players respect and will play for, solid/consistent ownership and GM'ing, a revitalized Garden home crowd, and we'll take our chances next year against anyone.

They should have won this year. Sports history is littered with the next big thing that never happened. Who cares? The could have beat THE MAN. They gave it away.

I'm with Coach here, good run by Boston, lots of positive takeaways.

Iirc no one picked them to win this series before it started.

What if Hayward doesn't come back right? What if Kyrie is always hurt? What if what we saw was Tatum's ceiling? What if what we saw was Rozier's ceiling? What if some dumb ass team throws 14 million a year at Smart? What if Horford gets old quick? What is Brown continues to GLIDE TO THE HOOP INSTEAD OF EXPLODING AND GETS STRIPED EVERY TIME HE DRIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!???! What if LeBron goes to Philly. All the Green Teamers are talking about is next year. Fuck next year we aren't Dallas Cowboy fans. That team goes into next year thinking its preordained they are going to get porked. They have a ton of work to do this off season to get better they better be pissed for losing.

Thought I tuned into Boston sports radio there for a second...

They'll probably be the one seed next year but I'm not convinced it will all gel into a title team. They should try and land Anthony Davis somehow.

All the stuff people are saying about Boston is the same stuff people were saying about the 10-11 Bulls. Win now or GTFO.

That's what sport is though, all about the what ifs. I don't know what's going to happen next year, but I do know that there's a lot of potential positives within Boston for 2019. But yeah, it may all go to shit, of course it might. All you can do is hope your organisation gets it as right as it can and as much as possible falls your way.

Whatever happens though, I'll be watching, and looking forward to finding out.

No way that's Tatum's ceiling btw. And yeah, Davis in green would be a really beautiful thing (not often you hear Anthony Davis and beautiful in the same sentence...).

For sure they need to feel the loss and stew on it, I'm sure they will.
I'm just a glass half full kinda guy I guess.

Except it would be as if Rose and Noah missed the playoffs.
