All I'm saying is that if someone could Pleas Alford me a bit of help in locating these I will be eternally grateful, pass on your good will by helping others that are also in the same position as myself currently and even attempt to help with some lyrics. I'm doing my best not to sound like a beg, here. :D
Yeah this!

Ed is so wordy, it's all OVER THOUGHT.

Where is the moody, experimental, atmospheric, fucking gutsy album?

This is Backspacer II indeed.

I guess it's not fair for me to be pissed off that they aren't making the record I want them to make.
Oh great, have we already started the "if we don't get X + G + A + Q" and instead we get "L + W + A + G I'm gonna be SO disappointed they didn't crank out my requested forumula" part of the thread already?

I'm just going to check out of this thread cos I will bring down the positivity.

I've tried for 7 years to dig the bulk of their new material, there's the odd gem but this is pretty terrible.

Peace.

The rhythm, the timing of the guitars, the chorus, the vocals, the delayed notes and a more sophysticated drum track... there are quite a few small tweeks that repackage the whole song for me.

My favorite part of the entire leak is the contrapuntal piano stuff going on in the "always something, never nothing" part in Lightning Bolt. Funnily, that's probably BO'B's doing.

Harmless has the last post on page 666

Man I think LTRP is fucking bad ass and will hopefully age well. There's nothing wrong with this song at all and a lot of right going on!

I totally agree. They must genuinely have a reason not to include it. I'm guessing they felt it's one verse, a chorus, and then a big solo. They probably tried to restructure it and didn't get very far. To be honest, the chorus sounds quite a bit like 'Lightning Bolt!' except it's 'Of the earth!' being screamed. Maybe they couldn't get it very different.

The beginning guitar of Swallowed Whole sounds like the music for the best bass-fishing video game ever.

I can't wait to hear a better quality version of it. Matt's drumming sounds great but it's a bid muddy along with everything else (which I'm hoping is just down to the quality of these mp3s)

SW seems a bit plodding on first listen, yet there's a lot going on at the same time.
Have to hear more of it until a complete picture forms in my head.

The bridge of Swallowed Whole is beautiful. I want to say it's the most beautiful thing since... but I'm not going to put a comment like that down for posterity.

I just caught myself thinking that although I maybe critical of certain elements of the songs I'm hearing, not even once so far has it crossed my mind that I might be skipping this in the future. I remember my first listen of BS and I knew immediately which songs were going to be excluded from my playlist forever.

Very quality stuff so far.

It really is. Nothing on Backspacer moved me. That little section you are talking about I connected with immediately.
