Guess he takes it up a notch and says "cocks" instead of "dicks."
I wonder what lead to ed becoming so obsessed with dicks.

Straying from dick talk:

Songs I think i will like a lot:

Who Ever Said
Superblood Wolfmoon
Retrograde
River Cross

Still deciding on:
DOTC -synth pop (i will prob have to burn a disc with a good live version and put it with the studio tracks in order not to skip it)

The song/songs i predict will have the most leverage on whether I'll think this is a good or great album:

Alright/- "builds more slowly atop an uplifting melody," Kind of felt like one huge song".
/Seven O'Clock'"trippy Pink Floyd vibes"

Unknown but will prob like the majority of:

Quick Escape - "lead by a huge Jeff Ament
bass groove"

Never Destination - "evokes ... MFC" or supersonic/get right/ole- Punk pj.

Take The Long Way - "a riffy monster". supersonic meets cropduster, odd time signature ala crop duster/evacuation. Punk pj.

Buckle Up -"one of the more abstract songs"

Comes Then Goes -"Pete Townshend-worthy acoustic guitar aggression"

So what is going to be the next part of the album rollout?

Songwriting details?
Another single?
Interviews?
Song samples?

They gotta do something else right, there is still a fair wait till the album comes out.

Ed is scheduled to sing the 7th inning stretch at the Cubs spring training opener.

Next single is rumoured to be released 21 feb, so they'll probably start teasing that thing from the end of next week.

Does seem to be an agonisingly long wait for the album. All the polar ice caps will have melted by the time this thing comes out.

For some reason I’m really excited to hear Comes He Goes & Quick Escape.

Going off the reviews I’m fairly confident I’ll like the first two tracks. Buckle Up seems to be the odd one out from what I’ve read.

I don't know why anyone would set up their expectations like this. No wonder this board is so negative.

Is there significance to the timeline of the release?

Like, "A gigaton of ice will have become part of the ocean between Jan. 22nd & March 27th."

And then they perform inside a giant fishbowl.

They are simply trying to match the release date of the next single with Harrison Ford's "The Call Of The Wild" movie. There is a synergy there.
