This has many elements that I naturally gravitate towards. It's noisy but melodic, meditative at times, tracklist paces well. I'm puzzling about why I never gave BSS a chance over the years.

That doesn't track. In '02 I had Wilco, Death Cab, Sonic Youth, Belle & Sebastian etc on repeat.
I will say that over the years I always confuse them with Built to Spill and would be bummed when they would come on and didn't sound like BTS. At least I discovered them now.

I caught some of GEESE's set on the Outside Lands Amazon live stream. Was it ever confirmed whether their hype was a psyop/payola type thing? They're fucking shit. It's hilarious.
