The Nameless King in DS3 took me longer than I'd care to admit. Shieldless, of course.
There's alwaya 2-3 bosses per game that just make you want to throw your controller through a window.Ello Sailor wrote:The Nameless King in DS3 took me longer than I'd care to admit. Shieldless, of course.
In theory, yes. But the player is compelled to keep trying so they can experience the excellent level design, environmental storytelling, creature design, vast amount of weapons/spells, and combat strategies.scrub12 wrote:The idea of struggling with the same boss for hours sounds so unappealing.
Every now and then in that purple bubble store, for 200 bucks you can buy back a resurrectMonkey_Driven wrote:The worst! Took me forever to beat those two.i got bugs wrote:Man theseus and the minotaur are complete bastards on hades
Souls is that good, eh? Maybe I should really re-visit that one after I 100% Miles Morales. I'm at about 85% now and thinking I may hold on Cyberpunk until the next gen version comes out (though that could be a while).Monkey_Driven wrote:I am on the precipice of beating Demon's Souls and I just want to start over and do New Game Plus right away, Valhalla and Cyberpunk be damned.
I'm definitely holding off on playing Cyberpunk until the next gen patch, unless it is late 2021. Hopefully, it is Spring.Revelator wrote:Souls is that good, eh? Does it have any microtransactions or pay to win aspects?washing machine wrote:I only play mobile games and this one is a good time waster at the moment. Graphics are easy on the eyes, gameplay is straightforward with a few puzzles to keep it interesting. Kind of reminds me a bit of limbo in mechanics.
No, but it's got a price tag in the play store. I have play pass so it's free with that, but I think it's listed at like $2.99 or $5.99, I can't remember.Monkey_Driven wrote:Does it have any microtransactions or pay to win aspects?washing machine wrote:I only play mobile games and this one is a good time waster at the moment. Last of Us first. What genre of games do you typically like? Bloodborne is an all-time classic, but is certainly not for everyone. The others are very good too. Horizon was probably my favorite open world game on the PS4.BurtReynolds wrote:Just bought Last of Us, Uncharted 4, Bloodborne and Horizon Zero Dawn for 10$ each. I'm on the cutting edge of gaming. I like Naughty Dog games but I was in the mood for something more gamey, and Bloodborne is probably too hard for me, so I went with Horizon. Pretty fun so far.Monkey_Driven wrote:Last of Us first. OH man, what I wouldn't give to play all of those games again for the first time. I've replayed them all except Horizon.BurtReynolds wrote:I like Naughty Dog games but I was in the mood for something more gamey, and Bloodborne is probably too hard for me, so I went with Horizon.
