That was a bonkers ending.

No disrespect to my Bronco fan friends (good game, btw) but this TD pass is just fantastic. I could watch it all day long. What this kid is able to do (with a bruised hand and in the snow, no less) is just so entertaining and fun to watch.

This has to be the final suspension for Josh Gordon, right?

Sucks. I've always wanted Gordon to get well, for some reason. Maybe because his only problems are chemical related? If I was NFL material, I'd totally be in the protocol. Lucky for me, I'm slow and skinny.

Yeah, I've always liked Gordon and rooted for him.

Gordon gets kicked out of the league for smoking pot but Belichik is still coaching this year.

If the Pats keep losing and drop to the lower seed, they might face the Ravens earlier in the playoffs, eliminate them and make a clearer path for another AFC team.
As long as the Patriots can win out, they can stay ahead of KC and secure the #2 seed, which in my opinion is much, much more important than the #1 seed. Going to Baltimore is never fun, but what's far more dangerous is being subject to an additional chance to lose in the Wild Card round. As long as the Patriots can secure that first round bye, their odds of at least making it to the Super Bowl will be fine. And given they draw the putrid Bengals and Dolphins for two of their last three games, the key game is defeating the Bills, and thankfully for them that's in Foxboro.
This
True and agree on all of this.

I just worry about Lamar Jackson. Usually, it takes the NFL teams a full season to "figure out" a QB like this and contain him.....or maybe he gets a little hurt and can't improvise as much. Not wishing for that, but kinda need that to happen.

The Chiefs have already beaten him twice. I don't think they need more time to "figure him out."

Until the Chiefs prove me wrong, I will continue to believe that the weight of the post-season monkey on their back is stronger than any other factor. I will cheer my team on, regardless. But I've seen them choke too many times. I've felt the real heartbreak too many times.

Having said that... this defense is clicking and gelling at exactly the right time. This offense is still the scariest in the NFL. If both sides of the ball continue to play at this level in January... watch the fuck out. They CAN beat anybody.

But will they? As much as I love them and as much as I hate saying it... I have real doubts.

Teams are choke artists until they're not. The Broncos were reputed choke artists that reached a crescendo on The Worst Football Game Ever...and then they weren't.
