has this thread bled into domestic abuse yet? I’m pretty sure that, based on Harmless’s logic, my father would’ve been justified long ago in open palming my mother considering the way she talks to him.

I think it's certainly liberalism insofar as neither position divests from liberalism's foundational sense of property rights, but I take your point that it erupts a different sense of individual liberty than some of the board's old faithfuls are used to seeing.

and I'm more interested in that "different sense of individual liberty" than a lot of communists would need me to be to welcome me into their club

My entire take on this is that it’s really funny how Chris Rock thought cancel culture was going to silence comedians….and then he found out that just like everyone else on earth, his actual problem was the people who are rich and entitled enough to step onstage and slap you on live TV without consequence.
