Cancelled car rental. Here's my review.

My wife needed a car for work because our car was going to be in the shop. Due to bad weather, her work was cancelled and she no longer needed the car. We did not receive our refund. We paid $250 for the security deposit, $162.87 ahead of time for the rental fee, and $79.98 for insurance. I called many times, and the customer service woman claimed her boss told her it was refunded already, and we just need to wait for it to go through. After 14 days, it still hasn't gone through. I called many times to only get the same response, "he said he refunded it". She also claimed he wasn't responding to her messages concerning the matter, and that he was in Florida. There is no reason we shouldn't have received our money by now, unless they're willfully holding onto it. This morning I had to file a dispute with my bank to try to get the money owed to me.

Looking at some hiking boots for Spain later this year, but probably will go with something a little more basic/multi-purpose. I see that brand are both in Australia and do something they call "Urban Explorer" footwear. So I don't think I'll be shaking the sneans up too much tbh.

Yes these are waterproof boots. The brand is called On.

Wore them the first time a few days ago and yes I like them. Comfy.

These On shoes & boots come in lots of various styles and colors.
