I tweeted about this earlier... but seriously, guys... how awesome would a Mynabirds cover of Velvet Goldmine be?!

I wonder what Laura does for a living. No way Mynabirds is her full-time gig, right?

I really like that live arrangement of Witch Wolf. It sounds far more like a Generals song in that clip. Very cool. I wonder if that's what we should expect if/when they tour the new stuff.

I hope so because seeing them tour for Generals was the most energetic and best performance of theirs I've seen.

This one might be my favorite along with Witch Wolf so far.

Not sure if I'm going to listen to these now or just wait for the album to drop. I can live on the three we already have for a while, I think.

I'll listen to them but probably treat them like I have the first set and not listen to them very frequently. Get a taste and then put them away until I can digest them with the full record.

I think this is the best course of action, actually. Though, I have consumed the first EP frequently. This one, I think I'll listen to once and then put away. Good call, Pete.
Now... let's see if I can hold myself to that.

I'm not a fan of the way they're releasing these.

Yeah I'd rather just get it all at once. Even if I have to wait.

However...
I've now listened to these three tracks and I'm floored. I love all three of these. Golden Age made me tear up. Holy shit. And I've never heard a more Lennon-esque protest song by someone not named John Lennon than Be Here Now. Just outstanding stuff.
But, yeah, I think I'm done. I'm not going to listen to these three again until the album is in my hot little hands. Ditto the final three songs.
