Never watched Hard Eight. I'm generally not a huge fan of PTA. The Master is the only movie of his I really love, instead of just admiring.

Jorge, earlier I was thinking about a film I saw bits and pieces of when I was younger and I have no idea what its called. All I remember is a scene in a pool hall where two sinister looking dudes, they may have been brothers, stand over a group of patrons. One of the men puts a blade through another's wrist, pinning him to the table. He then very calmly asks the victim to thank him. I can't recall when it was set, but there may have been pinstripe pants and shit. It was fucking terrifying as a child. I would greatly appreciate any and all detective work.
