On the one hand, like Burt said, why reveal so much in the trailer? It felt like an outline of the movie. For someone interested in the exposition, it certainly removed a lot of the tension.

On the other hand, this is a movie about Superman and Batman. The story doesn't matter. Getting from point A to point B is a given. What matters is if it is interesting and fun to watch for the 2+ hours our eyes are fixed on the screen.

Based on what I've seen: I like the guys playing the two lead characters, but I'm not sold on Luthor. The visuals look fine, aside from Doomsday looking like a ninja turtle being stuck in my head now. Then again, I had no problem with the way MOS looked and many did.

Yeah, if one were to make a movie satirizing modern Hollywood using really broad, Mel Brooks level humor, the faux-script the characters are trying to get made would be called something like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Chapter 6: The Reckoning.

He should really support his local cinema by BUYING popcorn, Strat.

DC is really trying to catch up to marvel with this whole shared universe thing.

i think feige has dont a most magnificent job with marvel and slowly introducing the characters

fury/colson - ironman
hawkeye/clint barton - thor
Blackwidow - Ironman II
bucky/winter soldier - CA:WS
vision - A:AoU
The twins - CA:WS

they are all spread out in their movies yet they do not feel forced into any of the roles

I love how Snyder and Ayer are basically straight-up throwing shade at Marvel. They're the real superheroes.

Yeah, DC is behind the eight and they feel it. They're scrambling to catch up and I feel like it's ultimately gonna damage their product.
